Maraike Crom

Maraike contributes strong design, technical and visualization skills to the team at Kramer + de Conciliis Architecture, spending her studio time developing drawing sets for our custom residential projects.

Maraike earned a bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College, with a focus on economics. During this time, she also had her first architecture gig, working with a historic preservation firm in Boston. She returned to Germany after graduating to experience the architecture profession back “home” while applying to graduate school. She went on to receive her Master of Architecture from Pratt Institute.

After several years of working in Savannah and New York City, Maraike, her husband and their mini-goldendoodle moved to the North Fork full-time. Maraike grew up in Germany but spent her summers visiting New England and New York with her family. Making her vacation spot her permanent home was a welcome transition

In addition to her passion for beautiful, sustainable architecture, Maraike also enjoys teaching yoga, singing opera and traveling the world to explore nature and culture.
